Streams are series of installation consists of TV monitors and LCD screen, arranged in an off composition, and placed in unexpected location. The visuals in the screens are created via video webcam manipulation and live feedback from a nearby source of water such as an ocean or river. The title of the series is a parallelism of streams of media and streams of a body of water. A sound component is important in these installations. The actual sound of water flow creates the illusion that there is if fact water running through the TV monitors and LCD screens. The aim is to create awareness about the stability of water resources and also the vitality of technological devices that are becoming more close to our daily life. The series also rise deepen our interrogation of the sublime relationship between technology and the natural environment.
