At the End of Daybreak
At The End of Daybreak, is an installation that evokes the moment of "dawn" through a combination of visual and auditory elements. It includes a mural on the forefront and a translucent cubic structure with video and sound projections of an erupting volcano with a voiceover narrating a fragment of Aimé Césaire's "Cahier d'un retour au pays natal". The work explores themes of postcolonialism, awakening, and the connection between human and nature in the Caribbean context.
