Desde el principio
Desde el principio, was an installation of three hammocks suspended at ceiling height in the unloading area of La Planta in Calderón, Quito. The space was reused and recontextualized for this exhibition, with the sound of the wind, which characterizes the area, being employed as a live performance. In addition, an audio of people murmuring stories from the northern region of Ecuador was included, providing an interpretation of the local landscape. The installation also featured a sound art component, creating a soundscape that evoked the wind, and other sources of sound were used to add to the immersive experience.
