Mirage (Espejismo) This large-scale video projection is a non-linear narrative that explores the intersection between video and digital image. The resulting video is divided into three sections: an image of a sunny, flat shoreline filmed in a coastal area; a close-up of petunia flowers, common in the Americas; and a rising sun and truncated sky from the Caribbean. The video is rendered and edited digitally to create intentionally fragmented images that run simultaneously in the same frame, but at different times.
